# AeroPress Control Wheel

The AeroPress Control Wheel is an interactive and text-first map of brewing inputs, process states, observations, measured values, calculated values, risks, and cup outcomes.
Use it to decide what a brewer can intentionally change, what should be observed rather than controlled, and which surrounding variables should stay fixed during a comparison.

## Best for

The wheel is most useful when planning a controlled test, translating vague recipe language into specific variables, or looking up how one part of the AeroPress system connects to another.
It is less useful when the goal is a single finished recipe or an automatic prediction of cup quality.

## How to use it

Start with the domain closest to the decision in front of you. Select one variable, read its definition and relationships, then decide whether to lock it, vary it, measure it, or merely observe it.
Keep outcomes and risk flags separate from direct inputs. A dry or bitter cup is evidence to interpret, not a control that can be set directly.

## Boundaries

The wheel is an educational reference, not a causal model, recipe generator, or guarantee that changing one variable will produce one specific taste.
Its variable leaves remain crawlable but may stay out of the search index until they have enough standalone depth.
